Terms of Service & Privacy

PAS FlightDeck ("FlightDeck," "we," "us") is operations software for aerial application businesses: it turns drone flight logs into printable as-applied records, invoices, and reports. These terms are written in plain English on purpose. By creating an account or using FlightDeck, you agree to them.

Terms of Service

1. Your account

• Accounts are approved individually. We can decline or close an account at our discretion.
• Keep your password to yourself. What happens under your login is your responsibility.
• One account represents one company. Everything you enter belongs to that company.

2. Your data is yours

• The records, customers, products, invoices, maps, and numbers you put into FlightDeck are your data. We don't own it, we don't sell it, and we don't show your individual data to anyone else.
• You can export your data any time (the "Back up data" button), and you can ask us to delete your account and its data.

3. What FlightDeck is — and isn't

• FlightDeck helps you create application records, invoices, and reports from data you and your equipment provide. You are responsible for checking them. Acres, rates, products, dates, and totals should be verified before you send anything to a customer or rely on it.
• Records you produce with FlightDeck may be useful for regulatory recordkeeping (for example FAA Part 137 or state pesticide records), but compliance with any law or regulation is your responsibility. FlightDeck is a tool, not a compliance service, and nothing in the app is legal advice.
• Invoices and QuickBooks exports are generated from your entries. Your books are your responsibility.

4. Beta status & pricing

• FlightDeck is currently in beta. Features may change, and occasional bugs or downtime are part of the deal. We work hard to avoid losing data (including nightly backups), but you should keep your own exports of anything critical.
• Beta accounts are free. When paid plans begin, we'll tell you in advance — nobody gets silently charged.

5. Fair use

• Don't try to break into other accounts, overload the service, or use FlightDeck for anything illegal.
• Don't resell or copy the service itself.

6. Warranty & liability

FlightDeck is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost data, misapplied product, or regulatory penalties — arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, during the free beta, is zero).

7. Changes & ending service

• We may update these terms; meaningful changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use FlightDeck after a change means you accept it.
• You can stop using FlightDeck any time and take your data with you. If we ever discontinue the service, we'll give you reasonable notice and time to export your data.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA.

Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account info: your email address and password (passwords are stored hashed — we can't read them).
• Company & operational data you enter: company profile and logo, customers, fields, application jobs, flight-log uploads, maps, products, prices, inventory, invoices, and reports.
• Usage data: basic technical information about how the service is used.

How we use it

• To run FlightDeck for you: storing your records, syncing between your devices, generating your documents.
• To keep it safe: nightly backups and security monitoring.
• To run and improve the product: we compute aggregated, anonymized statistics across accounts (for example, total acres flown on the platform, or typical per-acre pricing ranges). These are used internally. Your individual numbers, customers, and prices are never shown to other users or published.

What we never do

• We don't sell your data. We don't share your data with other users. We don't run ads.

Services we rely on

Your data is processed by the infrastructure FlightDeck runs on: Supabase (database & login), Netlify (website hosting), and Cloudflare (domain services). The app also calls a weather service and a reverse-geocoding service using field coordinates to auto-fill conditions and locations on records. No account information is sent to those two.

Storage, retention & your rights

• App data is stored in your browser and synced to your account in the cloud, protected by per-account isolation and HTTPS.
• We keep your data while your account is active. Rolling backups are kept for 30 days.
• You can export everything ("Back up data"), erase your account data ("Reset account data"), or email us to delete your account entirely.
